It is election time for OFT Executive Board Officers and Site Representatives. This is an important election because you will choose the officers and representatives to guide your union through the next two years. The years ahead will be difficult due to the unpredictable state budget and the effects that will have on school funding. Now is a critical time. The certificated and classified unit will begin negotiations next school year. You need to make the best choices for the years ahead. The elected officers of this organization shall be President, Executive Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, VP of Certificated, VP of Classified, VP of Adult Education, and VP of Paraeducators. Officers shall be elected for a term of two years beginning July 1, 2017.

Candidates can only run for one position, in the event that one member is nominated for multiple positions, the nominee will be given the opportunity to choose and run for only one (1) position.
